The firm OF Mossberg & Sons offers an economical range of shotguns under the Maverick Arms brand. The Maverick 88 uses the same stocks and barrels as their Model 500. But the safety is activated by a push button located on the trigger guard, and not at the rear of the receiver, the linkage of the Maverick 88 is in one piece directly integrated into the synthetic material handguard and it is easily replaceable by the Mossberg 500 system. all parts of the Mossberg 500 can be adapted to the Maverick 88, with the exception of the trigger group. The Maverick 88s only exist in a blue-bronzed finish and a synthetic stock. The M88s, sold inexpensively in the 1980s and 1990s, won over many security and cash transport companies in France. Likewise, the Air Force uses them to guard its air bases. The Maverick 88 is chambered in 12/76 caliber and the M91 is chambered in 12/89.
The Maverick 88 here in its category B version: 47 cm smooth barrel, a capacity of 6 shots (5 in the tubular magazine + 1 in the firing chamber) and a total length of 100 cm. It is a pump-action shotgun that is perfect for home defense. CIP tested.
Maverick 88: the utility of shotguns. Affordable and reliable, these various models perform equally well, whether it's combing through woods or ensuring home security.
