The Mec-Gar 20-round 9mm magazine for the GLOCK® 17 features a heat-treated carbon steel body protected by a friction-reducing coating. Its capacity increases the capacity of a standard 17-round magazine by three rounds. Precision-formed ribs guide the ammunition, while reinforced rims promote consistent chambering. The high-visibility green follower is made of impact-resistant, self-lubricating polymer, allowing for quick identification of an empty magazine. A high-strength piano wire spring ensures smooth cartridge feeding, and a black polymer baseplate completes the design. This Mec-Gar magazine is compatible with the GLOCK® 17, 34, 45, and 47 pistols, as well as the Glock 19x.

A 20-round Mec-Gar magazine for GLOCK® pistols
The Mec-Gar GLOCK® 17 9mm magazine increases the capacity to 20 rounds , compared to 17 for the standard magazine mentioned above. This provides three additional rounds while maintaining compatibility with the original polymer magazine release and trigger. The 20-round capacity does not change the firearm's classification, which remains Category B.

The tube is made of heat-treated carbon steel . Its low-friction coating facilitates magazine insertion and removal from the pistol. The stamped body remains compatible with the original magazine releases of compatible GLOCK® models.
A diet guided right down to the strengthened lips
Precision-molded ribs guide each cartridge during its ascent. The high-strength piano wire spring pushes the self-lubricating polymer follower, while reinforced lips ensure proper cartridge presentation for chambering. The follower's green color enhances its visibility when the magazine is empty.

FAQ
Does a 20-shot capacity result in classification in category A1?
No. For a handgun, the A1 threshold applies to an integrated or inserted magazine holding more than 20 rounds, allowing for more than 21 shots without reloading. This 20-round magazine remains classified in category B11°; the compatible firearm retains its own classification in this configuration.
