Platform 940: Reliability and optimized cycle
The 940 Pro Tactical SPX features an improved gas-operated system , ensuring a fast and consistent cycle. Internal components benefit from anti-corrosion treatments, including a nickel-boron coating on key parts (piston, magazine tube, hammer, trigger), promoting durability and smooth operation.
Advanced Optic-Ready Configuration
The receiver is drilled and tapped and is RMSc compatible for direct mounting after removal of the Ghost Ring plate. Three additional adapter plates allow the installation of optics with RMR , Docter , and Leupold mounts. The Ghost Ring metal components incorporate a fiber optic front sight protected by lower fins.
Next generation handguard
The handguard incorporates a heat shield and features three M-LOK interfaces (positions 3, 6, and 9 o'clock) as well as QD strap ports. Ergonomics are enhanced by Mossberg's signature anti-slip texture.
Ergonomics and personalization
The black synthetic stock offers stepless length adjustment (12.5" to 14.25") via a spacer system. The safety and charging handle are oversized for easier operation. The enlarged loading port and extended follower minimize pinching.
