The WATCHTOWER Type HSP-H is a precision semi-automatic rifle based on the AR10 platform, designed for shooters seeking the perfect balance between power and comfort. With its 16-inch barrel with a "heavy" profile and its short-travel HYPERFIRE trigger, it is intended for both medium-range precision shooting and rapid-fire shooting on the range.

Accuracy and consistency of shooting

The 16-inch Heavy Black Nitride barrel, with 1:10 rifled spacing, ensures optimal stabilization of .308 Winchester projectiles. This treatment gives the metal increased hardness and exceptional resistance to erosion, ensuring long-term consistency. Accuracy is enhanced by the crisp, direct HYPERFIRE EDT2 trigger, offering predictable firing and minimal reset.

Ergonomics and comfort

The telescopic B5 SYSTEM stock allows for quick adjustment to the shooter's body shape, while the same manufacturer's grip ensures a firm, natural grip. These elements promote a stable posture and better recoil control. The ambidextrous selector and cocking lever allow for smooth operation for all shooters.

Construction and mechanical fluidity

The lower and upper assembly are CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum, renowned for its superior strength-to-weight ratio. The PVD-coated DURABOLT cylinder head assembly provides a silky-smooth ride, reducing clogging and facilitating maintenance, even after extended sessions.

Surface technologies and treatments

PVD treatment (Physical Vapor Deposition)

PVD deposits a thin metallic layer on parts, improving hardness and corrosion resistance. It creates an extremely smooth surface, reducing fouling and making cleaning easier—a key benefit for intensive shooters.

Black Nitride

Black nitride treatment strengthens the steel surface by incorporating nitrogen, increasing wear and heat resistance. This process ensures increased barrel longevity and a sleek satin black finish.

Dragon Slay-AR CMB Muzzle Brake

The Dragon Slay-AR CMB muzzle brake limits barrel lift and reduces recoil, allowing for quick return to sight. Its PVD coating improves its durability and heat resistance.

HYPERFIRE EDT2 Heavy Gunner Trigger

The HYPERFIRE EDT2 single-stage trigger delivers a crisp, predictable release. Its short travel and short reset allow for more precise shot sequences, ideal for dynamic shooting or repeated precision.
