BARREL: 10.3'' (26.2 cm) free-floating, rifled in 1:7 (5.56mm) and 1:8 (300 BLK) pitch, cold hammered, to military specifications. Made of chrome moly vanadium steel, with a black Cerakote finish.

MUZZLE BRAKE: A2 "Birdcage" type steel flash hider

LOWER: CNC machined from Mil-Spec 7075-T6 aluminum

UPPER: CNC machined from Mil-Spec 7075-T6 aluminum.

OPERATION: Direct gas borrowing with low profile gas borrow block, CNC machined from 4140 hardened steel.

CYLINDER HEAD GROUP: M16 profile with chrome treatment

HANDGUARD: RIS II type front, equipped with four Picatinny rails: 21 mm Weaver to MILSTD 1913 standards with high-strength Santoprene soft rail protection, for better handling comfort and excellent grip.

HANDLE: Ergonomic handle with soft touch coating providing a comfortable and non-slip grip

The MK18 chambered in 5.56 mm caliber, allows the use of both 223 Rem ammunition, the civilian denomination, as well as 5.56x45 mm, more military-type, with significantly higher pressures generated. Compact (10.3' barrel or 26.16 cm).
