The CLAWGEAR linear type compensator has multiple interests. It reduces the recoil of the weapon as well as the raising of the barrel when firing, which has the effect of facilitating the return to battery, for more precise and rapid firing.

In CQB or in confined environments, such as a vehicle, the compensator redirects the blast of the shot forward, causing no discomfort or destabilization for the shooter(s) nearby.

Its robust design in tempered steel with its sharp points, allows it to practice break-ins without flinching in order to break windows or break down doors.
