The Nebula series emphasizes visual identity while retaining the mechanical qualities that made the Rhino 60 DS famous. The feel in the hand is immediate: firm grip, low-axis alignment and illuminated organs facilitate concentration and re-aiming between shots.
Lower axis
"Low-axis" describes the configuration where the barrel is aligned with the lower chamber of the cylinder rather than the upper chamber. This positioning brings the recoil axis closer to the hand axis, reducing barrel rotation and windup at the start: a direct benefit for rapid-fire control.
Ergal (7075-T6)
Ergal is a high-strength aluminum alloy (7075-T6), preferred for lightweight and rigid frames. Its use reduces the weight carried by the shooter while maintaining a structural foundation that promotes the accuracy and durability of the weapon.
Nebula Finish (Iridescent)
The Nebula finish offers a multi-hued iridescent finish achieved through a protective surface treatment process. It ensures resistance to wear while offering a unique aesthetic that is easy to maintain between sessions at the range.
Moon clips
Moon clips hold cartridges together for faster loading and extraction from the barrel. They are a practical advantage during timed drills or intensive training where reloading speed matters.
Optical fibers and Picatinny rail
Fiber optic sights improve rapid target acquisition with illuminated dots. The integrated Picatinny rail allows for the addition of standardized accessories (optics, laser, lamp) to adapt the weapon to the shooter's preferences or the requirements of a given event.
Interview
The Ergal + Nebula finish combination makes cleaning easy and resists micro-corrosion. Regular maintenance (greasing the axes, checking the barrel and checking the moon clips) will preserve the consistency of shooting and the shine of the finish.
