For decades, GECO has offered German-quality ammunition that combines consistency, safety, and performance. This FMJ version is designed for frequent use, particularly on shooting ranges.
9x19mm FMJ 124g cartridges, perfect for training and sport shooting.
Designed for demanding shooters, GECO 9x19mm FMJ 124g ammunition delivers consistent performance for training sessions and precision shooting. Through rigorous manufacturing and ongoing quality control, each cartridge guarantees reliable and smooth operation.
The 124g FMJ bullet, with a lead core and metal jacket, ensures good penetration, moderate recoil and excellent grouping. Its initial velocity of 360 m/s and its energy of 518 J allow for consistent accuracy on target.
Whether for intensive training sessions or regular recreational shooting, the GECO FMJ ensures consistent performance, without excessive fouling, in any 9mm chambered pistol.
A FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) bullet is a projectile whose lead core is covered with a metal jacket – often brass – over its entire surface, except at the base. This design protects the bullet during feeding, improves penetration and limits barrel fouling . It is ideal for sport shooting and training thanks to its ballistic stability and low cost.
Unlike a TMJ (Total Metal Jacket) bullet, the FMJ leaves the bottom of the lead core exposed. This can result in a slight emission of lead dust when fired, especially in indoor ranges. In contrast, the TMJ completely covers the lead, even at the base, reducing lead exposure and making the gun easier to maintain.
